RE/MAX Metro Properties group of companies including RE/MAX Crest Westside awarded Top Offices for Sales Volume in Canada and Worldwide for 2010 and John Lichtenwald honored with Canadian Broker Owner of the Year.

At Wednesday night’s RE/MAX International awards conference gala celebration, “The Best of the Best”, John Lichtenwald was awarded the Broker Owner of the Year for Canada for his outstanding achievements with the rebuilding of RE/MAX Crest, RE/MAX Masters and RE/MAX Central after taking them over in what could be described only as very distressed operations.

Deb, John and Elaine were honored with multiple awards for Multi-Office Sales Volume once again.

Our group of companies’ associates, representing RE/MAX Crest Westside, RE/MAX Crest, RE/MAX Masters and RE/MAX Central, for a 2nd year in a row, topped all of Canada and all of RE/MAX worldwide with outstanding sales volume.

Les Twarog and Shirley Sun  accepted their Chairman and Platinum Club awards at the event. Congrats to both.

Les shared a comment with me that he has been absolutely “blown away” by what he has learned and the enhancements to his business that he plans to implement immediately on his return to Vancouver.

The conference is a tremendous way to step away from daily biz and do some important work on our business that seems not to happen when we are so very busy on a daily basis.

Well done Laura-Leah Shaw and Brian Street on your RCMP uniforms and your booth in the Supplier Forum. You were a smash hit by all the attention gleaned from such a creative approach to your networking and referral generation activities.

A good number of our associates attended this year and comments from all have been very positive and appreciation has been shown for the “good vibe” coming from the convention attendees.

The international presence was very noticeable as we rubbed shoulders and shared conversations and cards with members from New Zealand, Australia, Greece, Turkey, Singapore, India, Germany, Mexico, Chile and many, many more. It was a colorful, energetic and fascinating experience.

Congratulations again and our sincere thanks and appreciation to all of you for your very important part in our group earning such a significant achievement.
