Members can now access the commercial version of Fusion at cls.fusionmls.com. This launch follows the release of residential Fusion in October 2012.
Fusion is the next generation of MLS® technology. It blends the functionality of the previous MLXchange and CLS systems with enhancements and customization options that allow you to create a personalized MLS® experience.
Commercial Fusion provides a modern platform for members to access commercial listings.
Fusion works across most major operating systems and web browsers including the Mac Operating System™ and the Safari™ web browser, Google Chrome™, Mozilla Firefox™ and others.
Commercial Fusion will run parallel with the existing CLS system to help ease the transition. All the data you have saved in the CLS system is in the same database accessed by commercial Fusion, making it easy to work across both programs.
Fusion enhances the searching and mapping functions that members use every day. It allows you to run multiple searches at the same time, and listings found for each set of search criteria will be uniquely identified. The result of your searches can also be displayed on an interactive map powered by Microsoft Bing.
Popular home page options such as Quick Search, Inventory Watch, Resources and Contacts will appear in customizable widgets for you to create your own MLS® experience.
To help you better understand the Fusion technology, the Board has created a Fusion resource section on www.realtorlink.ca that’s accessible via the ‘Technology Help Desk’ page (under Business Tools links). There you’ll find a variety of resources, including comparison and walkthrough documents and visual resources like video tutorials and screen-casts.
